Will we see the popular game RollerCoaster Tycoon on the Nintendo Switch?

Atari, who officially went bankrupt in 2013, has launched a crowdfunding campaign to do just that. The aim is to develop a new or improved version of the game “RollerCoaster Tycoon” for the Switch. The developers are supposed to be the same ones who developed the free-to-play game RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch for iOS and Android. The crowdfunding campaign itself is an investment campaign, which means that investors will participate in the profit distribution. Atari also promises to keep investors informed about future games, projects, and developments. The project is only available to US investors.

Atari is currently in litigation with Frontier Development. According to Frontier Development, Atari should have transferred $3.37 million, but they have only transferred $1.17 million. Now Frontier Development is demanding the remaining $2.2 million. How this fits in with the current crowdfunding campaign leaves nothing to be desired. He’s a rogue who suspects evil.

A total of $1.07 million is expected to be raised within 90 days. Developments can already begin with an amount of $10,000. The minimum amount that can be invested is $250, the amount is paid in advance and will be distributed later. You can find the crowdfunding campaign for RollerCoaster Tycoon on the crowdfunding platform Start Engine.

As of today, there are already 52 investors who have invested about $27,000.
