Square Enix has published a job posting for the remake of Final Fantasy 7. The game should surpass the original and not just be a new edition but a new creation. And for that, the team needs more qualified developers: combat and a level designer. The team around the remake of Final Fantasy 7 is looking for a fight and level designer.

The combat designer is to create a combat system that combines a mixture of commands and action. Besides, he also has the task of thinking up opponents and bosses – so there will apparently be new enemies as well as old acquaintances. Thirdly, he should help to create the environment and set parameters for the player’s growth.

According to the job advertisement, the level designer takes care of the workflow for the production of the locations and also helps to shape them with his ideas. He is also to convert the data in Unreal Engine 4.

A year ago Square Enix transferred the development of the game to the internal team. In the job advertisement, it is mentioned that for the remake of Final Fantasy 7 the developers of the original come together again.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be released in several episodes, but there is no release date yet. Earlier this year, producer Yoshinori Kitase confirmed that work on the project was progressing well. Square Enix may give us another update on the remake of E3 2018. The fair will take place from 12 to 14 June 2018.
