Pete Hines, Bethesda’s vice president of PR and marketing, may have teased Doom 2 during an interview. The interview was about the upcoming video game fair E3 in Los Angeles.

However, Pete Hines has not yet revealed what will be announced during the press conference. However, he said that the studio is experiencing hell on earth with the preparations for the fair. It could be an allusion to Doom 2.

Because the title of the original Doom 2 from 1994 is “Doom 2: Hell on Earth”. An announcement is entirely possible. After all, the last offshoot appeared as early as 2016 (2017 for Nintendo Switch). Since then, the title has only been maintained with download content for multiplayer.

Bethesda also announced some time ago that only two significant, previously unannounced games would be released before players can count on The Elder Scrolls 6. So Doom 2 could be one of those games.

Hines also explained that at E3 2018 a “lot of stuff in many different areas” will be on display. It could include news about Prey. The Bethesda press conference will be on hold in the run-up to E3, Monday, 11 June 2018 at 3:30 a.m. We’ll keep you posted right here on GamingFront.
